She struggles to earn the respect of the police, the people she meets, and the men she dates. Her vulnerability makes it difficult to trust her intuition which leads to a compromising situation. Yearning for true love and acceptance, she's manipulated into changing who she is and must battle to stay true to the identity that makes her unique.
