Tenchi Muyo!

Tenchi is an average guy with horribly bad luck! To make matters worse, he just accidentally freed the space pirate Ryoko after 700 years of captivity! Now, attractive alien girls from all across the galaxy are about to descend on Tenchi, making his life more outrageous than you ever imaginable! Can he survive the romantic entanglements of living with five lovely ladies?

This OVA series gives the viewer more in-depth details on Sasami, Washu, and Ryo-ohki, as well as introducing members of the Juraian royal family.

Continuing right where the last OVA series left off, the mysterious Lady Tokimi dispatches the warrior Z to Earth in order to learn more about Tenchi and his connection to Washu and Tsunami. Z is ordered not to lay a hand on Tenchi, but he may have his own agenda as he quickly sets about making trouble for our hero. Meanwhile, Tenchi's father and grandfather come to the decision that it may be time for Tenchi to learn even more about his past and his Jurian heritage. And the arrival of a couple of new female residents to the Masaki household threatens to upset the balance and inflame the rivalry over Tenchi's already decidedly divided affection.

An official Twitter account and website opened on Friday to announce a Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki Dai-4-Ki (4th Season) project.

Masaki Tenchi was a completely ordinary boy, other than being the successor of the Masaki Shrine. But he ends up breaking the seal that was meant to keep a "demon" banished away inside a small shrine in the back, and is then forced to fight the revived Ryoko (demon)! Realizing that her nemesis Ryoko has been revived, Ayeka comes to earth as well... And this is how Tenchi's involvement with the rulers of the galaxy, the Jurai clan, began!
