Overview

The unsuccessful young writer lives a hermit far from the city on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. His wife, a former actress, is trying to return to the theater scene, left after the birth of a child. One evening, as she has already done more than once, she leaves her son in the care of her father, who does not pay enough attention to the child. The film takes place during one night, during which the main characters are immersed in their memories ... He dreams of writing a successful book, not noticing how his own life is falling apart.
